Pre-emptive Analgesia Techniques

This is a technique used before start of surgery to minimize post-operative pain. It uses anesthetizing the surgical site and giving medications before surgery in order to prevent sensitization of the nerve endings at the surgical site and significantly reduce the pain after surgery.
